About The Author

Santina K. Adkins is an educator and musician who loves writing. Mixing those three interests is something she does with her little ones, past and present. She grew up in Richmond, Virginia but is originally from a nearby place called Charles City, Virginia. There, she picked up her hobby of writing from her Grandma, or Nanny, as she calls her. Santina has been writing short stories and music since her elementary school days. What Mommy Says: Terra Learns About Self-Esteem is her first published story to share with you all! And yes, her own Mom helped to inspire this very book!
